The Vercors Massif is home to the most diverse and richest range of Flora in the French Prealps. 1500 plant species are listed, including lavender, edelweiss and a range of different orchids.
The Natural Reserve of the Hauts Plateaux in Vercors is the largest in metropolitan France. Its 17000 ha represent 10% of the Vercors Natural Park.
